We convene independent toxicologists, dermatologists, ecotoxicologists, regulators and manufacturers to define, monitor and update national benchmarks for formulation, labelling, manufacturing practice and environmental impact. 

Brands that satisfy our evidence-based criteria may apply for ASC membership. Accredited members are authorised to display the ASC mark on approved product lines, gain early access to regulatory briefings and technical guidance, and contribute to the ongoing refinement of Australia’s sun-safety framework. Membership is renewed annually and is conditional on continued compliance with ingredient restrictions, GMP audits and transparent public reporting.
